Tuesday 2nd june
today i walked down to highton primary and helped out with the preps the me, sam and grce helped out was we played word ladders which is basically we put about 20 words on the ground and as they stand on a word they need to be able to say the word that they are standing on and if they start to have trouble me and the girls give them a little hand like if the word is this then i would help them byy saying t th thi and if they don’t get it by then i say it ok maybe next time let see if the person behind you can do it then i helped them by blind folding them and putting a bit of cardboard with a letter in front of them and they have to guess what letter it is they were doing really well
My Last Day of Term1
on my last day of term 1 i went to melbourne to compete in the state swimming but i only competed in one event which was 50*4 relay in which the team i was in come 4th apparently i did pretty well my self but all in all the team i was in did pretty freakin good considering that it was a state competion which is basically the best of the best
Wednesday 25th March
On Wednesday 25th march me and bout twenty other students went up to melbourne to compete in the western zone swimming in which i competed in two events one of which was the 50m backstroke in which i come 9th but in my other event which was the 4*50m relay in which the team that i am in came second which means we progress through to the next roundwhich is on thursday 2nd of april at the melbourne aquatics centre
tuesday 24th march
Last tuesday i went to the highton primary to help out with the year preps,1 and 2′s in class and in the gym we played red light green light which is a game where all the children line up in a single file line and if u yell green light they all run till u say yellow light at which time they all stop running and they jog on they spot then if u say red light they all have to freeze. all the little children seem to love that game so we always play that at the startbut when we help out in the class room we either help them with their reading or their spelling which is a load of fun most of the time
Volunteer work for VCAL
because I am on “double probation” cos of some prior bad things I did I could not go to murry kalkee so I looked around for other places to go I tried two other op shops but they did not need help at their shops so I was lost and didn’t know where to go but then a friend mentioned that she could go to help out at her mums school so she organized to go there with one friend and as a one time offer I could tag along and thank god I did cos apparently I was really like so my two friends and I now go to the highton primary school which is fun
Thursday 26th
last thursday i went with about another 40 people maybe to inter school swimming i went in two events one was the 50m backstroke and i came second in that event the second event i went in was 20Yr M 4x50m Freestyle Relay and the belmont high team won that so now i advance in the belmont high relay team but don’t have to swim in the backstroke any more

last tuesday darren lynch took my vcal class down to kalkee old folks home and the op shop as well the first place we went to was the murry place where it is really nice then we ventured over to the op shop where we got the full tour which was ok but i got really bored really quick then we had a lunch brake but cos me and a couple of other people didn’t have food or money on us one of the teachers took us back to school then went to the fish and chips shop and had lunch then we all headed over to the other old folks home that is apart of kalkee and we didn’t get a tour cos the old folks were having lunch but oh well
